10th June 2004 - Mr Jim Easton, Director of Auscredits, a stalwart supporter of the FBAA since 1995, and Senior Vice President since 1999 has assumed the role of Acting National President of The Finance Brokers Association of Australia.
8th June 2004 - Mr Jim Easton National Senior Vice-President of the FBAA has assumed the role of Acting National President of the Association with the resignation today of Mr. Graham Reibelt.
2nd March 2004 - A reply to the story aired on Today Tonight, March 1st, called 'Tackling the mortgage sharks'.
22nd January 2004 - At this time last year I announced that the National Board was to decide whether
to remain an Association run by part-timers and volunteers or take the plunge
and move forward and become a real force in this Finance Broking Industry to
the betterment of you, our members.
22nd January 2004 - The end of this year is on us already it just seems like yesterday that it was last Xmas. We are working towards a busier 2004 for the Queensland members. Already in the calendar are a breakfast in Brisbane on February 11th with guest speakers on industry topics.
22nd January 2004 - The Annual General Meeting of the WA branch of the FBAA was held on December 3rd, followed by a very well attended sundowner at the Matilda Bay Restaurant in Crawley. It was pleasing to see Peter Jooste QC, Chairman of the Finance Brokers Supervisory Board, and Registrar Greg Harvey join us once again.
22nd January 2004 - The Victorian Branch of the FBAA held its first meeting on November 12th in Armidale. Belinda James was elected State President, Peter Flakus Vice President, Anne Butler Secretary/Treasurer and Richard Houston Council Member. Congratulations and thanks to those Office Bearers.

10th December 2003 - The article on today's front page of The Courier Mail written by Hedley Thomas is disturbing to mortgage brokers because it contains grossly exaggerated allegations about the extent of fraudulent and unethical conduct within the industry...
1st October 2003 - By the time the October 2003 edition of The Finance Broker magazine is published I will have chosen not to nominate for a further term as the National President of the Finance Brokers Association.
