Press Release: A. Martial Peter steps down from Queensland Presidency by Maurie Unwin, Special Projects & Branch Liaison

The Finance Brokers Association of Australia is sorry to announce the resignation of Queensland State President, Mr A. Martial Peter, in advance of the upcoming State Annual General Meeting.

Mr Peter in his letter of resignation stated, in part, "My personal business operations require more time and effort from me as it grows and expands.

"I would like to thank all those who have extended their support to me during my term as President and continue to show their support.

"I wish the FBAA and all the committee members the very best in their undertakings and I will continue to support the growth of the FBAA."

Mr Chris Szigeti, nominee for President of the Queensland Branch of the FBAA, has been appointed to the role of Acting Queensland President of the Association.

Mr. Szigeti will hold the position pending the election of the Queensland Branch State Office Bearers to be held at the branch Annual General Meeting set down for Thursday 24th November 2005.

The National Board of the FBAA on behalf of the Members wishes to record their appreciation to Mr. Peter for his involvement and effort and wish him well for the future.
