Queensland President's Report by Keith Stringer, Former Queensland President

The end of this year is on us already it just seems like yesterday that it was last Xmas. We are working towards a busier 2004 for the Queensland members. Already in the calendar are a breakfast in Brisbane on February 11th with guest speakers on industry topics.

An end of financial year social get together towards the end of June and of course our annual Golf day which is expected to be held at Gainsborough Greens again.

I would like to thank our retiring Vice President John Seymour who has moved onto the National Executive. John was the primary driver of our main event through the year, the annual Golf day. This as previously stated was a great success.

Our annual election of office bearers will be held at the end of February and all positions will be open for contest.

I will be standing aside due to increased work commitments and a belief that the Queensland branch may be better placed to have a Brisbane based President.

It would be valuable for people who have the time and the commitment to let the Queensland branch members know as soon as possible of any intention to run for office.

To all Queensland members I wish you an enjoyable festive season break and a Prosperous 2004. May you all do many more loans.
