Police, Credit & Bankruptcy Checks
Applicants for membership with FBAA are required to obtain Police, Credit & Bankruptcy checks when submitting an application for membership. For detailed information regarding membership requirements, click here.
Police Checks
- Applicants for membership must provide a National Police Check. The check must not be more than 2 months old from the date of application with FBAA.**
- Where the applicant is a company, partnership, business or firm; all directors, partners and principals directly engaged in the business must provide this document.
- Note when renewing your membership, we will require a standard declaration when your renewal is due.
You can also obtain a national police check via an authorised agent such as Equifax, CVCheck, or National Crime Check.
Credit Checks
- Applicants for membership must provide a Credit Check. The check must not be more than 1 month old from the date of application with FBAA.
- A separate bankruptcy search will not be required if it is included in the Credit Report.
You can obtain a Credit Report with Equifax or CVCheck.
Bankruptcy Search
- Applicants for membership must provide a Bankruptcy Search. The search must not be more than 1 month old from the date of application with FBAA.
- A separate bankruptcy search will not be required if it is included in the Credit Report.
- Note that when renewing your membership, we will require a standard declaration when your renewal is due.
You can obtain a Bankruptcy Search directly from the Bankruptcy Register Search which is the most cost-effective solution. Or, you can obtain a bankruptcy check via a credit reporting agency such as Equifax, CVCheck, or National Crime Check
