Join the FBAA at the Mooloolaba Surf Club
Please join the FBAA for an information packed morning at The Surf Club, Mooloolaba.
You will hear from the FBAA’s Executive Director Peter White who will present to you the key update on the ASIC REM Review and upcoming Regulatory changes. Peter is the industry’s most highly engaged person with Government and Industry Regulators ensuring that your voice is heard and lobbying for beneficial relevant outcomes for our future. He is also on the Advisory Board of the Small Business Association of Australia and a Registered Lobbyist.
The Finance Brokers Association of Australia has announced plans to take the lead on promoting mental health in the industry, noting the rising mental health challenges in the sector. Mental health challenges in the broker sector are rising and we need to look after our industry family and make sure we can do everything we can to support them when times get tough. These are just the first steps of a concentrated mental health campaign that the FBAA will be rolling out to support the finance and mortgage industry.
It might sound like a good idea to pay someone to help fix your credit history, but credit repair agencies may not always be able to do what they claim. Credit Repair work is, by its nature, legal work (and thereby reserved for lawyers). MyCRA Lawyers operate exclusively in the area of credit reporting law. Graham Doessel’s life experience as both a broker and as a consumer at the wrong end of consumer credit reporting drove him to create MyCRA Lawyers from the ground up. The Non-Legal Director, Graham will be presenting to you ‘The top 5 things Credit repairers wont tell you.’
You must register to attend this summit and we are looking forward to seeing you on the 20th October.
